Friends

"A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though she knows that you are slightly cracked."

"Friends are the most important ingredient in this recipe of life"

"Friends are God's way of taking care of us."

Today I went to lunch with an old friend. (She is my age so of course I'm not saying that she is old! You know what I mean.) We were in the same married ward at the University of Utah. She was sitting in front of me in Sacrament meeting the first time we went to church. She was nibbling on crackers because of the morning sickness she was experiencing with her first pregnancy. We spent a lot of time together as young married couples. My most embarrassing moment in my whole life even happened at their house. (Hi Darren) We don't see each other much anymore so it sure was fun to catch up.

Tomorrow I'm going to lunch with a friend that lived three houses from me growing up. The last time I spoke with her was when she called me after Eric died. Last week her brother died. It's too bad that life gets so busy that it takes a tragedy to reconnect.

I have been blessed with such wonderful friends throughout my life. I am so grateful for each one of you and everything that you have done (and still do!!) for me. I am one lucky girl!!

I so agree. Friends are Gods blessing to get us through the really bad times, and to endulge in when the whole world is good. I dont know what I would have done if I didnt have such a fabulous support system this last couple of years. This goes out to all my sisters. Thanks for reminding me that we dont tell them nearly enough.

Hi Tamera! I am blog snooping! I think yours is very cute! I know that we don't know each other super well but I want you to know that I think you are wonderful! I admire your strength. Your sweet spirit and example of faith have been a big testimony builder for me. I am going to enjoy getting to know you better through your blog and maybe we'll hang out sometime. Hope to talk to you soon.
