Becca at Region

Here is a picture of my cute Becca running during region. Her time was  over 2 minutes faster than her first races. She has really improved and loves it. She has made some really good friends on the team. I am really proud of her! I have a dilema though. When she started cross country during the summer she told me about a race that they go to in California in December and at that time I though no way, but now that I know some of the kids she would be going with I'm thinking it would probably be okay. They will be doing the run, going to the beach and a day at Disneyland. They are doing fund raisers so its not the money I'm worried about, its just thinking if I could really put my baby on a bus to go to California for 5 days without me. I know she will be just fine and she would have so much fun. I need to make a decision soon. I only have 4 more days to make it. Oh the stress!! What should I do? lol

You could fund raise for two...hop on the bus with her. It will be a little mom/daughter bonding time! (don't they need chaperons?)

Congrats Becca! You are awesome! That is quite a problem you have there. I would tell you to just let her go but if it were Kenzee I would feel the same way. Sorry, I'm not much help.

I think you should let her go. It will be a great learning experience. A chance to grow. You've taught her well, have confidence in yourself and her. She'll do great and make memories. You cant pay money for that. She'll never forget trips like that. Your a great mom. Good luck.

She will have such a fun time! What a great opportunity, maybe she wants to take a 2 year old with her? I won't miss him! haha.

She looks great! I can't believe how great cross country has been for Jackson. He is doing awesome in school and seems so much happier. I guess running is good for you. I

I had the same thought as you are having about footlocker, I would love Jax to go but I think it's too soon for him. I think girls are more mature than boys so I think Becca would have a blast. Besides he can go next year when he is a little older. It will give him a goal to work towards.

Do you mind if I add your blog to my list?

Way to go Becca! Tamera you should send her. She'll be mostly supervised and she's a good girl so she won't get into any trouble. She will have a blast!

I had decided to let Becca go to California and was all ready to pay the deposit today when she told me that none of her best friends on the team were going so she decided not to go either. I'm actually a little bit sad. I thought it would be a fun experience for her. She will for sure be going next year and the best thing of all is that she can start earning money to go now! :)
