Since Halloween is almost here and we are running out of time I decided that Monday night we would carve pumpkins for FHE. The night started out really fun. We were singing and laughing and having a great time. It was all down hill from there. Each of the kids found a pattern they wanted to use on the internet. Devin chose a very complicated Yoda pattern, Becca the word Twilight and Megan found a cute spider. What ever happened to triangle eyes a nose and a mouth with a couple of teeth? After 4 hours of quality family time I had three very frustrated cranky kids and I was about ready to have a nervous breakdown. I am very thankful that it will be a whole year before we get to do this again!!

Oh crap...I hate when fun family things turn into disasters! But hey, they all look they are still smiling in the end? (At least they can fake it...right?) :)
But they look so cute in the pictures! They can't possibly be cranky ever right? Looks like fun-but I'm with you, I'm definitely good for another year as far as the pumpkin carving goes.
